I have open position in option, But when placing SELL order for the same its asking for more margin like I am selling without any position. What’s the correct way to sell open position.

Kindly ensure to use the same product for both buy and sell orders. “I” denotes Intraday, while “M” represents Overnight. If you use a different product while selling, you may encounter an error concerning the margin requirement.
