Just wanted to understand the field underlaying_scrip_code value in option chain data.
should it be the underlying security id.
currently looks like value is meaningless cosidering data we received using master data.
For example for nifty option chain I am getting “underlaying_scrip_code”: 26000,
could you please help understand what this value means, also would it be possible to get underlying script id.
Hi, Thanks for writing to us, the underlaying_scrip_code is the script code for the base script, for example all Nifty 50 options the underlaying_scrip_code will be of Nifty 50.
